Monster Energy Drink: Now With Dead Mickey~

19-year old liar Vitaliy Sulzhik claims he found a dead mouse in the bottom of a Monster Energy drink.

"Vitaliy Sulzhik had downed the energy drink shortly after buying it, only to feel 'debris' in his mouth as he finished the can.

The 19-year-old inspected the bottom of his drink and saw the tip of a mouse tail sitting at the bottom.

'Then I looked in the can and I saw the tip of the tail and I vomited everywhere.

'Anytime anyone talks about monster, I just get that sick feeling in my stomach.

Mr Sulzhik has been unable to drink anything from a can in the year since the incident, he said."

The Gunbrella Shoots Mother Nature In The Face

The Gunbrella is a real £10.99 (~$18 in US?) product that looks like one of those pop-guns with the flag that comes out that the Joker would point at Batman. Except it's an umbrella. But it does have an auto-open "trigger" so you can still aim it at people and scare them. Just not me, because I WILL wrestle it from you and jam it up your ass. Then pull the trigger. People are gonna think you're wearing a skin hoop skirt! LOL!

CEEKAY LOCKING COURSE 2

had another locking class @ dance house, hong kong st~~~~~ with ceekay!

today we worked on semi power moves? (i dunno or transitions to power moves moves?)
its stomp the roach ("kill the cockroach'' sounds farnie.) and boxsplit.

well, for stomp the roach, when don campbell was doing it, he actually prone to the floor and SLAM! his palm on the ground to do the "stomp". the move actually came from the idea of killing a roach. cos roached respond by running (or crawling?) all over the place when u wana kill it. so the move actually shows one move to the right, left then right again to do the stomp!

boxsplit was discovered by the nicolas brothers (dunno i got this right?) they weren lockers but entertainers or tap dancers. the appeared during circus performances, i think. and usually from many high platforms to the lowest ones. and they did a jump followed by a split. soon, lockers started to spot this move and called it the boxsplit.

i gotta work on my boxsplit.

anyways, ceekay shared pretty much with us today. some of the stuffs i recalled was..

*during battles, we dun jus zua power moves. jus to show off to the judges or feel good. if you cant do it, rather stick to what u can. if u crash, u can take hong bao. i will gong xi you.

*and do not only dance in front of the mirror. u can only improve that much. mirrors are for cleaning angles. to look good. u shd video urself not dancing in front of the mirrors. yes, angles are important to work on. but we shouldn depend too much on it. obviously, cleaner angles is nicer to watch (eg. gogo brothers) u should be aware of ur angles (at the back of ur head) during a dance without the mirror.

*always compete to be better than ur best. if u stop dancing, u stop at ur best.

*each move is like an alphabet. u have to do ur homework to increase ur knowledge of ur alphabets. so when u put them all together.....S....C...O....O....T....B...O....T..... u get
SCOOTBOT. whoo! hows that!? so u have to know how to spell. if ur knowledge is limited, u only know how to speak "that" much. key thing, do homework and study more.

*when listening to music, there's many ways to interpret it.

*if u like this particular song, u will know everything bout it. the vocals, the beats, the rhythm..
but it will become too fake. it doesn look natural in feeling the song.

so, its more or less like that? i will blog it up if i can recall anymore. hahah!
well. to me, i enjoy theories. i wana expand my knowledge in locking. more background and history lessons for me is good. (kaypoh ma. u got probrem ah!?)

CEEKAY LOCKING COURSE

just came back from Ceekay's locking course @ this ulu dance studio along hong kong st.
seriously, it looks pretty lok kok over there.
(where's the dim sum stall, man?)

feels so good to lock again!``~~ wahahhaha.
this time pace is much faster cos its intermediate.
shiok! challenging! jiayous DK!

enjoyed the class man! when it comes to the debrief,
i heard what i can improve on. jeaaah. thats what i wana hear!

and! during the last 3 lessons, he will focus on FREESTYLE!
WHOO! its what i have been wanting to improve! CMON! HIAAAHOO!

i am just so curious bout locking's history. so heard a pretty bit from ceekay himself.
such as locking uses funk music, from the 70s era, uses real instrument such as trumpet, congos and drums. which is different from hiphop. which mostly uses digital beats and stuff.

next week we're learning....power moves? knee drop, boxsplit and applejack...
ehh, its kinda quick though. there're moves like which-a-way, stomp the roach, stop n go, round the world.... haven learn sia!!! so fast power moves? hahaha.

and he mentioned, smth that hit me in the head again.
that the funk usually comes from the...... *drum roll* .........

u cant jus dance in front of the mirror all the time.
and practice on ur own.
yes, u will improve but to a certain level..
its not a i, my, myself thing.
u need to step out of your comfort zone.
dance with and around people.

like u will get different feel when u dance in front/around/with person A (maybe a guy)
and u will have a different feel when u dance in front/around/with of person B (a girl)

also, locking in the 70-80s, 90s, and now, the twentieth century locking we're doing are different too. styles change. but one thing doesn't, the foundations. yupp.
if you wana include hiphop, waacking or even popping in locking, mix it well. dont do it segment by segment. or it will look like ur doing hiphop, then locking, then hiphop again. but put hiphop in locking, such as doing hiphop footwork but u lock along with that........git it?

and. he says if ur feeling good, and got the mood, when u battle, u enjoy the song and go all out. but what if suddenly, ur feeling low (like mosquito bit u in ur face) how??
challenge urself. dont worry if ur opponent dances better, but challenge to break thru out of that sucky feeling and dance it out.

yaar.. more or less. those are what i caught. whooo. inspired.

Happy BELATED Valentine's Day, I hope you all had a good great one.

I actually forgot to post this up during Valentine's.
(too busy with my FYP)

For those of you who do have a special someone and not sure what to get them, there's glow-in-the-dark flowers. Except they don't really glow in the dark, just under blacklight. All you have to do is pour some highlighter fluid in water, cut the stems, and let 'em soak that shit up. BOOM -- space flowers!

If so, make some glow-flowers for your lady and tell her you picked them on the moon. She'll be so impressed you went to space for her!

Check out the video tutorial in case you're really struggling with the idea of pouring highlighter fluid in some water and sticking a flower in it.

the day has come.

the last day of my poly life.
(man. im gonna miss all the yummy food)

okays, not exactly last day though...
cos there's another day of presentation next week.

it will surely be a good experience! throughout the time you guys trained, i believe you all have grown in being strong mentally and capability! (cos u all went out of your comfort zone to learn other genres and keep cleaning up steps ) also, i believe u guys bonded stronger throughout this whole period! thats what im tawkin' bout' ODC! CHIONG AH!

2. PRO-AM LOCKING 2V2 (6pm @ buona vista cc)
-SG's first pro-am locking event! YAOBAI's (囂張) from SO FUNKY (TAIWAN) coming too!
as judge and there's his workshop on sunday!

"...This is an Event Specially made to help the Amature Lockers for our Young Lockin Scene. And they will also get a chances to gain experience through pairing with a Pro Lockers to gain insights of how an Experienced Lockin Battle is Gonna Be Like!!"

this is really hectic.

last 3 weeks before i can rot and shake my hairy legs at home all day........
nah.....not really. i got many things to do actually. like finding a job,
meeting my sheeps, clearing up the cny goodies..

my final year project requires us to produce an educational animation for the patients there at IMH [institute of mental health]. basically nurses will use this video to teach the patients how to prevent themselves from falling down and breaking a bone or tooth.

we are pretty far behind...still lagging...
animation........ its really not smth i wana do for life.. oh man...
i wonder what shut my passion for my course... its becoming dreadful. haha. oh boy.

recently, i am eating alot. guess i am really stressed up. but food's smth we shd all appreciate and just eat all we can. HAHA. before i die, i shd really taste all the glorious and dope food out there in this world.

[im gonna least grab a curry puff from old chang kee at the new building before i leave.]

2.my biggest show : danzation 2011's over! but it lives on.
[miss those precious moments. every moment of it. since day of 1 of prac till the last show on 8 jan 2011.]

3.i've started to fall for bubble tea.

4.YDANCE's been growing! damn glad it is!

had a chat with my NRA senior few days ago....yew seng. : )
it was after he taught his class on one of the days...

i learned pretty much..actually saved our msn convo.
i realised i got so much to improve.
like my shoulders..difficulty doing certain steps sial..
for his steps that day during class, he choreo-ed it easy,
cos its jus placing...can catch de, jus that the speed is fast.

i asked him how to correct my bad habits..
he mentioned looking into the mirror....something very "duh" but profound.
slowly control it....and do it at my comfortable pace instead of chionging it..
and when i am alone, pay close attention to details..
rather than just copying what the instructors did and never learn anything...

i find it like "why didn i think of that?"

he ended off saying, through hardwork in a correct way, we achieve success.

3MA:

i have to learn MAYA. ><" gosh, i seriously cant learn under my lecturer.. having a hard time understanding his "language". i am really trying my best to "swallow" what he's saying.. haahah, but jiaalat leh.. dunno why i just cant seem to get it. thus, i learned from my friends and even from YOUTUBE. can you believe it? one whole term's assignment, i literally learn everything from YOUTUBE's online tutorial on how to build an aeroplane? hahahah.. now this term we have to construct our own 3d self! help me.

FDW:

this class is fun. we get to draw human figures. like the skeletal structure, the muscles, and proportion of a human, facial features, blaaaa. they even hire a LIFE MODEL to model while we draw! its a GUY laa. the girls in my class damn happy and kept blushing. ok he has his undies on! what are u thinkin?! he has a great bod la, thats why can see clearly while we draw. i was imagining if they get someone larger and rounder...man.. cant see where's where la.

PBM:

use toon boom and maya. ><""""!!! i don't like using softwares! i rather draw! this is where we study how a human moves.. like walking, jumping, turning, hoping, pushing an object... yupp.. cant be too robotic for example? yaah! then like a simple walk cant be too stiff?? mus look like a normal human being.... then we've to put LIFE in the walk.... like walking with attitude? or a little bounce while walking? interesting topic laa. but erm, just don't like the softwares.

DAD:

this is quite fun bah. our portfolio is to do a music production whereby we are to record our own composed song or create a melody, rhythm or beats using REASON ADAPTER .......like techno beats?! hahaha i decided on composed song. i got my brother to help me out with it. : 3 we also learned how to edit sounds, like cutting parts of the audio and pasting it, sycn it with a given movie clip... aiyaa...ahaha. cant help but jus share what i am doing in school. if this bores u, too bad baah. hahah..

dance:

now am a junior!! yeaaa` anyways, been dancing dancing dancing! there's an upcoming competition for me and my crew, UNDEFINED. its at suntec, this august 09. it will be another exposure and boost in my growth in dance. thanks to our dope seniors baowen, david and jiajun who's investing in us.. we'll jiayouus! still remember when david told us to write down what do we want to benefit out of this competition..... i really took time and write em down, with my heart, mind and soul.. well...i cant stop talking bout dance.. it is a lifestyle for me i know. its not just a cca. its not just for leisure. its more than just a hobby. and i know a difference is yet to be made.

A pink bottle-nose dolphin was spotted swimming in Lake Calcasieu in Louisiana. It is believed to be the only of its kind.

'The mammal is entirely pink from tip to tail and has reddish eyes indicating it's albinism. The skin appears smooth, glossy pink and without flaws. I have spotted it about 40 to 50 times in the time since the original sighting as it has apparently taken up residence with its family in the Calcasieu Ship Channel.

'As time has passed he has grown and sometimes ventures away from its mother to feed and play but always remains in the vicinity of the pod.

'Surprisingly, it does not appear to be drastically affected by the environment or sunlight as might be expected considering its condition, although it tends to remain below the surface a little more than the others in the pod.'

and mine, is 3D animation! i want to draw more la...

joined MMA, it becomes a phobia. compared to the other
specialisation, which is, IM, Interactive Media, where

went to school today, consulted my teacher...
and thank God she mentioned that for me,
i need to do some touching up of shadings and
contrasting...phew!

looking at my teacher's work... really gives me stress.

you realli need passion to excel here. if not, surely swim with the fishes.
i have already got 2 of my friends in this course,

its been a year in NRA liao!
yeeehaaah! new revolving age,
hip hop dance club in Ngee Ann Poly!
well, participated in ONE DANZATION EVENT~!
honoured to be taught by Farid and danced with
the other freshies as well!
i really look forward whats coming up this year and
the years to come. so much to learn from the seniors
and other freshies as well.

#1. Lightning Cow!

The cow featured here, who we will refer to as "Well Done", was struck
by lightning and lived to chew grass and moo about it, which is apparently rare.
okay, ..not proven to have been caused by lightning, but a reasonable assumption.

When lightning hits the ground, current flows through the earth in a wide area around the point of impact. This is how a lightning strike can kill a field full of cows - the long wheelbase of the average cow means that a nearby strike induces a significant potential difference across the ground spanned by the cow's front and back legs; current flows through cow, cow dies.

For those of you who aren't science-minded, let me break that down in layman's terms: basically lightning strikes a cow, and makes it delicious. I smell barbecue! Or a cow on fire, same difference. Ermm, yeah...

Apparently that's why it's recommended that humans caught in the open should not only crouch low, but keep their feet close together - if you're not struck directly, you don't want your feet far enough apart to create a potential difference for voltage moving through the ground. First time I've understood that.

wahaha, after some research, well..... here is what i found out.

*Krumping is relatively new urban street dance-form that began in South Central Los Angeles and is characterized by free, expressive, and highly energetic moves involving the arms and chest. It has become a major part of hip hop dance culture.

..."Why are you crying out to Me? Tell the Israelites to move on."

Moses had brought the whole nation of Israel, approximately 600,000, to a dead end in the desert. The only thing between Israel and Pharaoh's pursuing army was the Red Sea. This was after nine plagues God had inflicted on Pharaoh to motivate him to free the Israelites. Finally, Pharaoh had freed Moses and the people, and they left Egypt. They thought they were home free. "Freedom at last," they said. But God did a strange thing. He directed Moses to take a route that led to the Red Sea, instead of the northern route around the Red Sea. God explained that He didn't want them fighting the enemies they would have encountered on this route. But still, there was the issue of the Red Sea.

They finally arrived at the Red Sea, and the people were wondering where they would go from there. News hit the camp: Pharaoh had changed his mind. He was coming after them with his army. Panic set in. The defenseless Israelites cried out, "Was it because there were no graves in Egypt that you brought us to the desert to die?...It would have been better for us to serve the Egyptians than to die in the desert!" (Ex. 14:11b-12)

God sometimes brings each of us to a "Red Sea" in our life. It may be a business problem that can't be solved. It may be a marriage that seems to be failing. It may be a debilitating disease. Whatever your Red Sea, God tells us one thing: "Keep moving." The Red Sea was before them, yet God was angered at Moses and told him to "Keep moving."

"But Lord, the Red Sea is before me." "Keep moving." When we live by sight, we act on what we see. God sets this stage in dramatic fashion. God is into the dramatic. There is no way out without God here. That is just the way He wants it. No one will get glory except God.

A friend once admonished me when I was in the midst of a marriage separation that eventually led to a divorce, "You must not withdraw from being proactive in your faith just because of this trial that you are in. God's hand is on your life. There are too many who are depending on you to fulfill the purposes God has in your life. Keep moving! Keep investing yourself in others." I didn't feel like it. I was in too much pain. But I did it anyway. God met me at the point of my greatest need once I decided simply to be obedient. Getting past myself by investing myself in others helped heal the pain. There is great healing when we look past our own problems and seek to invest ourselves in others for the sake of Christ. This is when our own Red Seas become parted. We begin to walk to freedom. But we will never experience the miracle of the Red Sea in our lives if we don't first "Keep moving."

well, its the EVE of my bro's enlistment day!!
woo...!! its like so cool la, he is embarking onto his
next phase of life already...!! of course, he will surely feel
"kan chiong" la...so many uncertainties ahead of him...
new environment, new friends, new experience, and of course...
new and greater growth awaits him! be it, character or maturity in the mind.
but the good thing is, he is going to the POLICE FORCE man!!!
so blessed!!! HOME TEAM ACADEMY @ CHUA CHU KANG...not PULAU TEKONG!
hahahahaha..........cool la, he might get a chance to drive a SUBARU WRX~ and i am so

we went for a swim in the afternoon!!
bro said he needs help, so i did what i could to teach him!

NEXT, all the enlistees came out, and took their pledge or oath bah...

we had our "last lunch" with bro, then took some photos...
and had to bid him GOODBYE ....~!!! we will all see him
in his new and stylo-milo hair cut when he books out!!!!!

had a wonderful time spent with my beloved "shepherds"
earlier yesterday.... NO WORRIES, REBECCA!! join us soon okie??
anyways, we went to VIVO CITY's RIVERSIDE VIEW.....and gathered!
we had LONG JOHN SILVER before that... = )
[i was so thirsty, i just 'ate up' the whole LARGE CUPPA COKE!!!]

hahaha...it was so FUN at our meet!! well, i performed some magic tricks for my
friends...but apparently, they didnt caught it.....thats why they didnt clap for me.....

we sidetracked from our meet halfway bout 6pm....then we just keep taking photos!!

recently we had a new 'come-together'..
its 'MSM'... well, stands for "mustard seed meet"
basically, its for all the key seeds of our pioneering schools
to get together to work out further on how to complete *CG08..

[*its a small scale of the great comission.. its a campaign to plant a CG
in every high school in singapore...for us, NORTHB...its WOODLANDS
we are in charge of! wOoOoOoOoOoOOOOoooOoO000000000oOooOo!!......
okay, thats a long woo.]

we are targetting on the lower secondary...
so we are bringing in the sec 3s and below into this meet.
the rest of you in NORTHB, we have to work hard too!!
this meet is to train up the freshies further as seeds in the school!!
also, the key criteria here is ..

1.willingness to be used by the maker
[to be a finisher of CG08]

2.availability

heys..
i brought my DMM out yesterday..
well, we had a whole lotta fun travelling around!
we had "cerato" with us too, she's hot! hahaha!!

anyways...we went to
CHOM CHOM @ Serangoon!
[food lovers...u guys should know where that is!]
oh we saw the northeast girls there too...with Rachel and gang..
yeahh!! we spent bout $31!

10 satays [pork, mutton, chicken] -$4 (40cents per stick)
3 big pieces of sting ray w/ yummy bla-chan [oooo..boneless!!] -$10
1 plate of carrot cake [black! got prawn some more!] -$3 (small)
8 pieces of fried chicken wings! -$8 ($1 per piece)
2 gigantic mugs of sugar cane! [freshly grinded!] -$6 ($3 per mug)

hahaha!! after which...we went to MACs! learn a little from the WORD..
bout "concepts and how to build a community" ....Yahooooo!
then we head to AMK HUB....wanted to catch a show, but it was too late already..
it was bout 10pm...so we had supper!!!! hahahah...we can really eat!
but its more like desserts... like ice creams, slurpee from 7-11, drinks...
bout 1130, sent Val off....then Peok, Joshua....
great time for "fei-low-ship"!!!

The Mayonnaise Jar & 2 Cups of Coffee

When things in your life seem almost too much to handle, when 24 hours in a day are not enough, remember the mayonnaise jar and the 2 cups of coffee.

A professor stood before his philosophy class and had some items in front of him. When the class began, he wordlessly picked up a very large and empty mayonnaise jar and proceeded to fill it with golf balls. He then asked the students if the jar was full. They agreed that it was.

The professor then picked up a box of pebbles and poured them into the jar. He shook the jar lightly. The pebbles rolled into the open areas between the golf balls. He then asked the students again if the jar was full. They agreed it was.

The professor next picked up a box of sand and poured it into the jar. Of course, the sand filled up everything else. He asked once more if the jar was full. The students responded with an unanimous 'yes.'

The professor then produced two cups of coffee from under the table and poured the entire contents into the jar effectively filling the empty space between the sand. The students laughed.

'Now,' said the professor as the laughter subsided, 'I want you to recognize that this jar represents your life. The golf balls are the important things---God, your family, your children, your health, your friends and your favorite passions---and if everything else was lost and only they remained, your life would still be full.

The pebbles are the other things that matter like your job, your house and your car.

The sand is everything else---the small stuff. 'If you put the sand into the jar first,' he continued, 'there is no room for the pebbles or the golf balls. The same goes for life. If you spend all your time and energy on the small stuff you will never have room for the things that are important to you.

'Pay attention to the things that are critical to your happiness. Play with your children. Spend time with your parents. Visit with grandparents. Take time to get medical checkups. Take your spouse out to dinner. Play another 18. There will always be time to clean the house and fix the disposal. Take care of the golf balls first---the things that really matter. Set your priorities. The rest is just sand.'

One of the students raised her hand and inquired what the coffee represented. The professor smiled. 'I'm glad you asked.

It just goes to show you that no matter how full your life may seem, there's always room for a couple of cups of coffee with a friend.'
